The Shanghai Hash House Harriers began in 1986. We’re a mixed hash (meaning all genders and sexes are welcome) that runs walks or hobbles every Sunday come rainstorm, snowstorm, beerstorm, sandstorm, etc. Attendance varies from 4-60 people, but typically is around 20-30. Really though, who cares?

You need to have a working arm and elbow, enough so that you can drink a beer. There are many different types of hashers. There are those “Type A” hashers who delight in running 5-12 km trails on Sunday afternoon after having run their half marathon training earlier in the morning. Then there are those hashers who just like to have an afternoon walk and a beer and food.
You need to bring a sense of humor, a willingness to get dirty, and a change of clothes. There will be water and beer provided for you, as well as some food at the end

D2H3 : Drunken Dragon: Run/Walking trail once a month, usually on a Saturday. This hash group takes you to the outskirts of Shanghai for some shiggy trails. Bus is arranged and usually leaves center of shanghai at 12.45pm.
Full Moon Hash : Once a month the Wednesday before the full moon (evening Run). Usually in the shiggy parts of Pudong.
Shanghai 7/11 H3 : The 7-ELEVEn H3 holds 2 runs a year – both on 7/11 (November 7th and July 11th). (Evening run/walk).
